Skillz on the Grill

No. I'm not talking about those annoying metallic things rappers glaze on their teeth.

Yesterday, we christened our grill. We decided
to take the healthy route so I grilled a Sock-eye Salmon. We have salmon at least twice a week but I always bake it. Grilling it was not that different and I'm happy I did well on that. You can rarely go wrong with salmon if you use the right juices anyway.

Today, w
e decided to take the not-so-healthy route. We decided to kabob. Beef, that is. Now I'm not a stranger to "sugba-ing" but I don't think I've ever used beef on them skewers before. So after half a day of marinating, it was time to skew the meat with the veggies. It made me miss home... and the smell of barbecue along the sides of the street. I told Joen that all we lack right now is some puso (hanging rice). I might have over-grilled a bit but hey, it was still yummy! And with a salad of fruits I chopped on the side, some wine and well, incidentally a UFC match in the background, it was a lovely dinner. I can't wait to show more of my skillz on the grill for that fill hopefully without a spill.
